Sean Canning, CSCS
Sean is an exercise physiologist with us at NJ Spine and Wellness. He graduated with a BS in Exercise Science from the University of Scranton, where he also worked with the varsity athletic teams creating and implementing exercise programs for the athletes. Other previous experience includes an internship with the New York Yankees as the assistant strength and conditioning coach for their Triple A baseball team. Sean has a passion for helping others and promoting healthy habits and fulfills both by working with the outstanding staff and patients at OBSW.
Colleen was born and raised in Avenel, NJ. She graduated from Ramapo College in 2011 with a Degree in Psychology. She is currently in the process of pursuing a Master's Degree in Exercise Science with a concentration in Exercise Physiology. After completion of this degree, she hopes to get into a physical therapist program to achieve her doctorate in physical therapy. In Colleen's spare time she enjoys outdoor activities, working out, and spending time with family and friends.
Brianna was born in Lodi NJ and then moved to Iselin NJ at a young age. She now resides in Colonia NJ. She went to JFK high school where she was a part of the cheerleading team. She then went off to William Paterson University and graduated in 2014 with her bachelors degree in Exercise Physiology. She plans on continuing her education and going to PT school in the near future. On her free time she likes to read and spend time with her friends and family.
James was raised in Old Bridge, NJ. He went to Saint Joseph’s High School in Metuchen where he enjoyed playing baseball. He then continued his education at the University of Delaware where he graduated with a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science and a minor in Entrepreneurial Studies in 2016. Throughout his undergraduate career, James worked in a variety of inpatient and outpatient care facilities. These physical therapy clinics include Raritan Bay Medical Center, Bayshore Community Hospital, and the University of Delaware. James has worked in pediatrics, geriatrics, and sports rehabilitation. He hopes to continue his education with a doctorate degree in physical therapy in the near future. James has a passion for sports healthcare and rehabilitation. He prides himself in helping patients to a speedy recovery while developing patient bonds in the process. In his free time, James enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching and playing sports, and going to the gym.
Andrea was raised in Freehold, NJ. She graduated from Georgian Court University in Lakewood, NJ with a Bachelor's of Science in Exercise Science in 2011. She is currently attending Kean University's Exercise Science Masters program. Andrea's ultimate goal is to become a Physical Therapist.In Andrea's spare time she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, drawing, reading, playing and watching sports, and running.
